Built to last

Fiberglass is fireproof but not indestructible—rough handling tears the weave. Once deployed on a hot pan, residual heat can weaken the material. After extinguishing a fire, inspect for damage before reusing. Not a substitute for a fire extinguisher (cannot fight large fires, active flames, or chemical fires).

• Do not machine wash; wipe clean with damp cloth and air dry flat. Folding repeatedly at the same crease can crack the fiberglass.
• Edges are raw fiberglass and can irritate skin. Wear gloves when handling after deployment.

Q: Can I reuse it after one fire? Inspect for tears or burn marks. If intact, wash and reuse. If damage is visible, replace—compromised material won't smother effectively.
